Colne Smack and Barge Match (UK)

Colchester smacks embellish the Thames sailing barges in the River Colne. The course normally takes participants out past the Colne Bar and into the Thames Estuary and back to Brightlingsea Sailing Club for a bargeman’s tipple afterwards.
